Delta Engineered Drainage Systems manufactures drainage products using five premium industrial alloys. Select the appropriate material based on environmental conditions, load requirements, and aesthetic needs.

Alloy 01 — Stainless Steel CF8 / CF8M

Produced in Type CF8 (equivalent to Grade 304), an 18-8 Austenitic alloy with nickel and chromium. Offers exceptional resistance to moisture and scaling. For acidic environments or seaside pools, Type CF8M (Marine Grade 316) is deployed.

Alloy 02 — Chrome Plated (CP) Brass

Delta Chrome Plated Cast Brass is ideal for wall parapets, gutter channels, and wet sectors requiring a luxury metallic finish. Not recommended for heavy abrasive pedestrian corridors as friction may cause electroplated peeling over time.

  • Chlorine Immunity: Highly Immune (Swimming Pool Safe)

Alloy 03 — Solid Cast Nickel Bronze

A heavy cast bronze alloy with a permanent silvery-yellow satin sheen. Designed for heavy commercial plazas with abrasive foot traffic. Friction from shoes helps maintain its satin finish over time. Recommended where anti-spark safety is required.

Alloy 04 — Cast Aluminum Grade 319

Supplied in casting Grade 319 (silicon and copper alloy). Forms a light gray, highly durable casting with excellent mechanical strength and strength-to-weight ratio. Used predominantly for roof domes, sediment baskets, and gravel filtration collars.

Alloy 05 — Dura-Coated Heavy Cast Iron

High-tensile pig iron cast heavily to support heavy vehicular wheel loads (BS EN 124 Class D400 HGV). The core iron body is coated in a black asphaltic sealant compound that blocks rust oxidation and prevents galvanic reaction with floor chemicals.
