All Delta drainage systems are engineered from prime-quality industrial alloys including Stainless Steel Gr. 304 and 316, chrome-plated cast brass, heavy cast nickel bronze, cast aluminum, and high-tensile cast iron. Each specific alloy is selected with precision based on its intended environmental demands and required load-bearing capabilities.
Difference between SS 304 and SS 316?
While both grades are high-purity chromium-nickel alloys with exceptional structural durability, Grade 316 stainless steel contains an additional 2% to 3% molybdenum. This specific chemical enhancement significantly upgrades its resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion, making SS316 the standard for marine, pool, or heavy chemical installations, while SS304 is ideal for standard interior restrooms.
Are Delta products BS EN 124 compliant?
